I know, I know…Christmas isn’t even here yet & we still have a full week to fulfill our resolutions from last year, but I’m skipping ahead anyways. IHow many of you will be starting out the new year with resolutions that look something like:
I will update my blog every day. Well, at least 3 times a week.
I will not blog about my cat.
I will not make posts that start with “Sorry for the lack of updates…”.
You just can’t help but laugh at how times have changed. The web makes life easier for lots of us, but it also adds a whole whack of items to our To Do lists which often equals a whack of extra stress too.
I’m on a quest to streamline my blogging process so that I don’t put off posting a blog entry due to the PITA quotient. I get ideas for blog posts all the time & usually end up kicking myself for not blogging because if I had taken a few minutes to write it down & link to some Great New Product! then at least I wouldn’t be *searching* for that product months down the line when I can’t remember where I heard about it in the first place. Blogging, for me, is a handy tool for organizing stuff other than in your Bookmarks.
Unfortunately, digging through my bookmarks to find the blog admin for this or one of my other blogs, logging into WordPress & using the slow as molasses on-line editor is not a process I particularly enjoy.
This is where my quest for the perfect blog editor comes in. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. I’ll be posting my results, successful or not, so keep reading if you’d like to streamline your blogging routine too.
And of course, happy holidays!
