A Warm Welcome from the Chick (and yes, that was a 3rd person introductory post)

Ah, the first post of a brand new blog - unspoiled by link trades, banner ads & the verbal diarrhea that is sure to follow.  Will *this* be the blog that catapults me into blogosphere stardom?  Better hold off on that Segway purchase for now.  We haven’t even done the requisite introduction!

I’m a webmaster.  I’m a chick.  Everybody still following?

I’m not new to blogging, but my other sites tend to be commercially driven, so even when I am honestly sharing my private thoughts (with anyone who can operate a keyboard), I find myself holding back & editing the stream of consciousness that flows through my fingers.  And that is the danger of the keyboard right there.  If I had to write this shit by hand, I’d have the time to figure out what I was trying to say & why I probably shouldn’t say it in a public forum.  But that shiny PUBLISH POST button is so much more convenient.  And shiny!

So this is my new blog.  I’m going to vent here without fear of repercussion.  I’m not going to link here from my other sites.  I’m not going to edit myself.  I will post (hopefully) interesting links & articles when I find them regarding the internet biz, making money on-line, search engine optimization & whatnot.  Basically all of the stuff I stumble onto on a given day, but don’t have time to fully digest & ends up cluttering up my bookmarks will now move to a nice clean blog that I can refer back to when I do have the time to follow up.  I am constantly starting new projects (hello ADD!) & having a place to post the ideas so that I can come back to them & keep my mind un less cluttered would be a big help with my work flow.

And there you have it!  Now get back to work.  =)
